Let’s define your level

Level A1 – Beginner
  • Can you introduce yourself and say where you live?
  • Can you understand and use simple greetings (Hello, Goodbye, Thank you)?
  • Can you write a short text: “My name is ___, I am from ___”?
Level A2 – Elementary
  • Can you order food in a restaurant using simple English?
  • Can you ask for and give directions? (“Where is the bank?” / “Go straight, turn left.”)
  • Can you write a short email: “I want to meet you tomorrow at 5”?
Level B1 – Intermediate
  • Can you describe your job, hobbies, or daily routine in detail?
  • Can you understand the main idea of TV news or radio (if spoken clearly)?
  • Can you write about an experience: “Last summer I travelled to ___, and it was ___”?
Level B2 – Upper Intermediate
  • Can you take part in a conversation about current events or work?
  • Can you understand movies without subtitles (most of the time)?
  • Can you write an opinion essay: “I think learning languages is important because…”
Level C1 – Advanced
  • Can you express ideas clearly in debates or presentations?
  • Can you understand complex texts (articles, research, literature)?
  • Can you write a formal report or essay with well-structured arguments?
Level C2 – Proficient
  • Can you understand almost everything you hear or read in English?
  • Can you express yourself naturally, precisely, and fluently in any situation?
  • Can you write academic or professional texts at a native-like level?
