Winter Holidays

Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
Over the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bobtails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight, oh!
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh, hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh

The Nativity Story
A long time ago, in a town called Nazareth, there lived a young woman named Mary.
One day, an angel came to Mary. The angel said, “You will have a baby. He will be very special. He will be the Son of God.”
Mary was engaged to a man named Joseph. Soon, they had to travel to a town called Bethlehem. The town was very busy. There were no rooms in the inns.
Finally, they found a stable. It was a small place where animals slept. That night, baby Jesus was born. Mary wrapped him in cloth and laid him in a manger.
On a hill nearby, shepherds were watching their sheep. An angel appeared and told them, “A Saviour is born in Bethlehem!” The shepherds went to see the baby and were very happy.
Far away, wise men saw a bright star in the sky. They followed the star to Bethlehem. They brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh for baby Jesus.
Everyone was joyful. They knew this was a very special night.
